The Color Purple

In Sara Halprins review of The Color Purple she stated This pic shows healing within the community. It shows a feeling of empowerment. I guess that most of the characters experient either healing or empowerment. The trinity characters that i feel showed healing and empowerment but did non recieve alot of light as the rest were Mister, Nettie, and shugs flummox. He fell asunder because he was lonely, he fell apart because he didnt have anyone to control and to nag, and he fell apart b ecause he came to the realization that celie was really gone for good. He pretermit his crops, his bring about animals, his home and he neglected his health by deviation down to his sons bar getting drunk all the time.

It wasnt until he recieved the letter in the mail from nettie that he fixed to diversify his outlook on what course of person he was and what kind of person he wanted to become.
